HubSpot integrations: connect your CRM to your ERP without burning the budget
Short answer: a HubSpot integration can cost anything from a few thousand kronor to SEK 200,000 (roughly EUR 18,000), and the difference is rarely in the technology. A simple one-way connection can be built as an automation in Make for a few thousand. Custom middleware that syncs two systems both ways, handles conflicts and does not break at the next update usually lands at SEK 50,000-200,000 (EUR 4,500-18,000).
What decides where you land is not which ERP you have. It is how clean your data is, how many objects need to sync, and whether you have decided what applies when the systems disagree. Settle that before you request a quote.
Three levels of integration, and what they cost
1. Automation, a few thousand kronor
A flow in Make or similar that moves data in one direction. A new order in Shopify creates a deal in HubSpot. Quick to build, cheap to own, but it does not handle volume and it resolves no conflicts. The right choice when the need is small and clearly defined.
2. Off-the-shelf connector
An existing connector for, say, Fortnox or Business Central. Fast to get started with and often solves 80 percent of the need. The problem is the last 20 percent: the fields that do not exist, the objects that are not supported, and logic that belongs to someone else.
3. Custom middleware, SEK 50,000-200,000 (EUR 4,500-18,000)
Your own layer between the systems with full control over the data model, conflict rules and error handling. The most expensive to build, the cheapest to own over time when the flow is business-critical. The right choice for two-way sync, multiple systems, or messy data.
The data model is the integration. Everything else is plumbing.
Most integrations do not fail on the technology. They fail because nobody decided who owns the customer, what happens with duplicates, and what applies when HubSpot says one thing and the ERP another. Anyone who quotes an integration without first asking what your data looks like has not understood the assignment.
We have built integrations against Fortnox, Visma e-conomic, Monitor, Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft Business Central, Jeeves, Lime, Upsales, Litium, Shopify, Liveforce, Dataløn and Ticketmaster, among others. For the full cost picture, see our guide to hiring a RevOps consultant in the Nordics.
Warning signs, and who actually builds it
A fixed price before scoping
Anyone who gives you a fixed price without having looked at your data is guessing. Either the quote carries a hefty risk margin, or the bill arrives as change orders. We have seen an agency sell a HubSpot-Fortnox connection for SEK 380,000 with a promise of full sync. It never worked.
An off-the-shelf connector as the answer to everything
A ready-made connector is a good answer to a simple question. If it is the answer to every question, regardless of what your data looks like or which objects you need, then someone is selling a product instead of solving your problem.

Frequently asked questions about HubSpot integrations
What does a HubSpot integration with an ERP cost?
It depends on the level you need. A simple one-way automation in Make costs a few thousand kronor. Custom middleware with two-way sync, conflict handling and error handling usually lands at SEK 50,000-200,000 (EUR 4,500-18,000). What drives the price is data quality and the number of objects to sync, not which ERP you have.
Which systems does Purasu connect HubSpot to?
We have built integrations against Fortnox, Visma e-conomic, Monitor, Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft Business Central, Jeeves, Lime, Upsales, Litium, Shopify, Liveforce, Dataløn and Ticketmaster, among others. If your system is not on the list, it can usually be solved anyway, provided it has an API.
Can you use an off-the-shelf connector, or do you have to build custom?
A ready-made connector is often enough for standard flows such as orders into HubSpot. It takes you about 80 percent of the way. The last 20 percent, the fields that do not exist and the objects that are not supported, is where the custom build becomes necessary. Start with the ready-made one if it covers the need; build custom when it does not.
How long does a HubSpot integration take?
An automation can be live in a few days. A ready-made connector in one to two weeks. Custom middleware usually takes 4-10 weeks, with most of the time spent on the data model and testing, not the coding itself.
Why do so many CRM integrations fail?
Because nobody decided the data model first. Who owns the customer, what happens with duplicates, and what applies when HubSpot says one thing and the ERP another. The technology is rarely the problem. The ambiguity is.
Do we need to clean our data before the integration?
Yes. Syncing dirty data just means you get dirty data in two places instead of one. In most B2B companies, 40-60 percent of CRM data is junk. Clean before you migrate, not after.
